Research Surveys

Participate in research at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute (FWRI); take one of our online surveys.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's Fish and Wildlife Research Institute conducts numerous online surveys. Scientists create the surveys to gather research data from our Web site readers. Our readers have the opportunity to report information that will help researchers in fields as varied as sport fish restoration, saltwater angling, horseshoe crabs, and aquatic health.

Other surveys may be added to our growing list, so be sure to check periodically if you would like to participate in FWRI’s online research. To read about a survey and provide research data, select a title from the list.

Aquatic Health Survey (FWC-FWRI survey)
Help scientists determine which aquatic health issues are specific to each region of the state of Florida.

Boating and Angling Guide Survey (FWC-FWRI survey)
What can we do to improve the Boating and Angling Guide series?

Florida Offshore Fishing Survey (FWC-FWRI survey)

Horseshoe Crab Survey (FWC-FWRI survey)
Help biologists identify horseshoe crab nesting beaches throughout Florida.
